The final Epic Universe construction update
Nearly six years of updates on Epic Universe, and it’s all led to this. We have one more Epic Universe construction update for you. Let’s make it count. Alexa, play “One Last Time” from Hamilton.

Alright, who’s cutting those onions? Folks, we’ve just about reached our destination. The grand opening of Epic Universe grows closer. Team member family previews have started. Universal Orlando Resort’s third theme park is pretty much finished. @bioreconstruct on X has delivered one last round of Epic Universe progress pictures for us to enjoy.
We have much more Epic Universe coverage in store for you, but this will be our final construction update, seeing as construction is just about complete. So, let’s soar above the park one last time, together.
Celestial Park
Once they’ve walked through the Chronos portal (the park’s entrance and icon), guests will enter Luna’s Court of the Moon (also referred to as Luna Overlook). We can now see what this area will look like at night, as the park has been running consistent lighting tests throughout Celestial Park.

The ethereal Luna is fully illuminated and water is flowing in the fountains surrounding her.

Speaking of name changes, Universal is now referring to the statue opposite Luna near the entrance to the Helios Grand as Apollo, in an area known as Apollo’s Court of the Sun. Apollo and Helios are very similar in Greek mythology. Water in the surrounding fountains was stagnant at the time of capturing this image, but is sure to flow like Luna’s.

On the topic of fountains, the ones across Celestial Park are on! While these are just their default daytime setting, it’ll be interesting to see how they’ll interact with any future nighttime spectaculars.

A Neo-Victorian-style fish has been installed above the entrance to the Atlantic restaurant.

Constellation Carousel now has its full attraction signage placed above the entrance. Until recently, the word “Carousel” was not there.

Blue neon lighting resembling clouds lights up the exterior of The Blue Dragon Pan-Asian Restaurant.

But that’s not all, folks! The namesake for this eatery has landed just outside the entrance: Blue Dragon is here! This dragon is crafted in the same style as the fish above Atlantic. A menu board rests on Blue Dragon’s … neck? Stomach?

How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk
More dragons have found a home on Berk in their new dragon houses!

Dart, one of Toothless’ children, was found taking a stroll around Berk. When you’re that cute, you definitely draw a crowd!

Construction crews installed a mechanical puppet of Toothless in Epic Universe’s Berk. Although its function is currently unknown, it seems like can turn the wheel at the bottom to make Toothless’ wings flap.

The fountain in the center of Berk’s village is now operational. You can see Grump, the Hotburple has also appeared in the village, making himself right at home inside Gobber the Belch’s blacksmith shop. He’s supposed to keep the fire going. Let’s hope he doesn’t fall asleep. Guests will be able to meet Gobber here too.

Bioreconstruct spotted more details in the Fyre Drill queue and attraction, instructing guests how to play!

This Gronkle will dry guests off inside this human dryer, outside Fyre Drill (for use after riding the water attraction).

The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic
The streets of Wizarding Paris are coming alive as bioreconstruct spotted performers in era-specific costumes playing live music with their instruments!

Non-music-playing streetmosphere characters are also wandering the streets of Paris.

Super Nintendo World
Water pours out of the Golden Temple in this beautiful shot of Mine-Cart Madness at night.
