Epic Universe park hours extended for more nighttime select dates in May & June 2025
Universal Epic Universe park hours are now available for the new theme park’s opening weeks in May and June 2025, including early entry for hotel guests.

The official calendar for Universal Orlando Resort now displays the park hours for Epic Universe starting on May 22, 2025, the theme park’s official grand opening date.
From May 22 – June 1, 2025, Epic Universe will be open from 9 a.m. – 10 p.m. every day. This is a change from the previously listed 9 p.m. closing.
From May 23 – June 1, 2025, Early Park Admission will begin at 8 a.m., during which Super Nintendo World (including Mario Kart: Bowser’s Challenge, Yoshi’s Adventure, and Mine-Cart Madness) and Stardust Racers will be open for guests staying at any Universal Orlando hotel. 1 This extra hour gives hotel guests a head-start to experience Mario Kart: Bower’s Challenge, Mine-Cart Madness, and Yoshi’s Adventure before other Epic Universe visitors. Note: Early Park Admission begins May 23, not May 22.
Starting June 2, Epic Universe park hours transition mostly to 10 a.m. – 9 p.m., with 9 a.m. Early Park Admission. On a few stray days — June 16, 23, 24, & 30 — the park is open until 10 p.m.
Epic Universe is currently operating in a soft-opening phase, open for previews through May 19.

Blake what do you believe is the reasoning behind opening the park at 10 am during the month of June?
The other 2 Universal Parks both open at 9 am during June and Islands even had some 10 pm closing times
Why the shorter hours for Epic?
Hi, Vinnie. Thanks for reading. Universal could have a number of reasons for opening Epic Universe later than the other parks, but we can only guess at this point. Operationally, that must have been the best call for them. Maybe they’re trying out something new with a new park.
