Epic Universe construction update: Celestial Park restaurants
Order up! See what’s cooking over at Epic Universe as we showcase recent construction updates on the restaurants in Celestial Park.

When you think of a brand-new theme park opening, you’re probably thinking about all the new attractions to experience, but if so, you’re leaving out the most important part: the true lifeblood of any theme park. We are, of course, talking about the many new food offerings coming to Epic Universe when it opens on May 22, 2025 in Orlando, Fla. Today’s construction update focuses on the restaurants found in Celestial Park, a land original to Epic Universe that acts as the park’s hub area. Thanks to @bioreconstruct on X, we have some great aerial photos of the ongoing construction captured in late January and early February.
Atlantic, Celestial Park’s sit-down seafood based restaurant resting across the Neptune pool, is encased in glass. Construction crews are still at work on the exterior of the restaurant, but we can see two clam shells adorning the entrance.

Celestiki is a tiki bar where guests can get a drink while they stroll around the park. A tiki mask with the bar’s name and logo sits on the roof of the bar, and looks as if it will light up at night. Mentally I am already at Celestiki.

Frosty Moon appears to be fully completed on the outside, with temporary fencing surrounding the stand.

The outside of Meteor Astropub has a stellar facade, with probably on of the most creative signs in the park. A meteor made up of cheeseburger ingredients invites guests to try some food that will be out of this world.

Pizza Moon’s marquee (referencing the 1902 short film “A Trip to the Moon”) looks as if it will have a moving tongue. Scaffolding is still up around the restaurant.

Stained-glass windows atop the spires of Pizza Moon have designs that mimic pizza toppings.

Across from Pizza Moon is Epic Universe’s Starbucks location, which is already operating and serving Team Members working inside the park.

The exterior of the Blue Dragon Pan-Asian Restaurant is nearly complete, just missing a few details. Soon, crews will install upside-down umbrellas as outdoor lighting under the dining location’s overhangs. A Blue Dragon statue is also yet to be installed.

Here is what the finished product will resemble:

The Oak & Star Tavern just received a new tree in a recently built planter outside its entrance. Construction workers placed the sign for this barbecue location above the doorway, but continue working on the entrance.

This unnamed Epic Universe restaurant below takes up a giant footprint of Celestial Park. We have yet to know what type of food will be served here or what type of dining location it will be. It’s worth noting this location doesn’t appear as far along as the other locations in Celestial Park.

The landscaping in Celestial Park still has some work to be done. Trees are being planted, dirt is being seeded, and pathways are being paved. Once the water starts flowing and guests are greeted by the goddess Luna, Celestial Park will truly feel alive.

Which restaurant are you most looking forward to eating at in Celestial Park at Epic Universe? As always, stay tuned to Attractions Magazine for more construction updates as progress nears completion on Epic Universe.
