Opening Day at Universal Stella Nova Resort!
Universal Stella Nova Resort is now open, and we were there on Opening Day to celebrate the new Universal Orlando hotel near Epic Universe.
Universal Stella Nova Resort opened to the public on Jan. 21, 2025 in Orlando, Fla. This new Universal hotel is the first of three new overnight options opening in the coming months as the destination prepares to open Universal Epic Universe, its third theme park, on May 22.
(The other two hotels opening soon are Universal Terra Luna Resort on March 25 and Universal Helios Grand Hotel on May 22.)
Here’s what Opening Day looked like at Universal Stella Nova on Jan. 21.
The theme of Stella Nova is space, so a few astronaut characters greeted the first guests checking in on Opening Day.
Rare Universal characters were also in attendance: Guy Diamond from “Trolls” and a few agents from “Men In Black,” including Frank the pug.
Anyone for some Stella Cookies?
Some guest rooms at Universal Stella Nova have distant views of Epic Universe. Seen below is Frankenstein Manor in Dark Universe. We’ll share more photos like this later this week.
Here’s a map of the Stella Nova campus. Note the walkway to Epic Universe in the upper right corner. Once the new park opens on May 22, Stella Nova hotel guests will be able to walk to its front gates or ride a complimentary shuttle.
