Epic Universe parking section names found in Universal app
Find a spot to pull over and park yourself for this Epic Universe update!
“Jurassic 305” … “Spider-Man 402” … These are parking spaces that you’ve probably jotted down in your notes app and forgotten all about. Well, thanks to the “Parking Reminder” section of the Universal Orlando Resort app, you can easily remind yourself where you parked at one of the two parking garages located at Universal Orlando. However, a new parking lot is on the horizon as Epic Universe gears up for its grand opening on May 22, 2025 in Orlando, Fla.
Thanks to this section of the app (and a h/t to @AliciaStella on X for pointing it out!), we’ve learned the names of the different sections of the Epic Universe parking lot!
You can find this feature on the “Profile” portion of the Universal app and by scrolling down.
Next, you’ll select between the parking garage at the preexisitng parks, or the parking lot at Epic Universe.
This is where it gets exciting! When selecting a lot, you’ll find the names of the different sections. The names are “Explorer,” “Monster,” “Viking,” “Gamer,” and “Hero”. These are all names nodding to the five worlds of Epic Universe (presumably Celestial Park, Dark Universe, How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk, Super Nintendo World, and The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic, respectively).

As the updates for the new theme park become more mundane, we can’t help but be even more excited, because it means we are that much closer to the opening of Epic Universe!
