Super Bowl LIX MVP Jalen Hurts visits Magic Kingdom
Jalen Hurts delivered on his “I’m going to Disney World!” promise the day after winning Super Bowl LIX with the Philadelphia Eagles.
On Feb. 10, 2025, just a few short hours after the Philadelphia Eagles took home the Lombardi trophy from Super Bowl LIX, MVP Jalen Hurts made a stop at the most magical place on earth, Walt Disney World in Florida. Defeating the Kansas City Chiefs 40-22, the Philadelphia Eagles won the most coveted award in sports, a commercial delivering that iconic line: “I’m going to Disney World!”
Jalen Hurts arrived at Disney World’s Magic Kingdom to celebrate the win that disrupted the Kansas City Chiefs’ attempted “three-peat.” The energy from an Eagles fan that hears “go birds” on any random day is already enough to power a small city, but the crowd today was on a whole other level. While there were no fans climbing lamp posts, Eagles fans had smiles that only a Disney trip the day after a Super Bowl win could produce. Each and every Eagles chant was cheered today, and if the unsuspecting guests around the park didn’t know them before, they sure do now!
As part of a pre-parade celebration, Jalen Hurts stood atop a float with Mickey Mouse to greet fans and thank them for their support. After what was surely a late night for Hurts and his team, he still had a smile on his face as he led the crowd in an Eagles chant.
Blue and silver confetti rained on guests blending into the sea of Eagles jerseys of players past and present. Although the Philadelphia Eagles must be ecstatic to have won the Super Bowl, nobody is happier than the fans who got to see their MVP today!
