There’s still some time to experience superb holiday entertainment at Knott’s Merry Farm
Christmas 2024 may have come and gone, but Knott’s Merry (Berry) Farm near Los Angeles, Calif. is serving up spectacular holiday entertainment through Jan. 5, 2025. This includes a jaw-dropping ice show, a full-blown live musical stage production, and many other pieces of entertainment all around the historic park.

One of the most popular live shows is “Snoopy’s Night Before Christmas: Ice Show” at the Walter Knott Theater. This truly is a production for the whole family to enjoy. If you haven’t seen it before, you may think it’s just a kid’s ice show primarily featuring Snoopy and friends. But that couldn’t be further from the truth.

In addition to the Peanuts gang, the Snoopy ice show has a full cast of skilled figure skaters gliding across real ice for an unforgettable piece of entertainment. In addition, aerialists swing above the ice giving crowds a lot to take in as the whole performance space is filled. From upbeat tunes to smooth ballads, there truly is something for everyone in this must-see show.

The other large-scale production at Knott’s Merry Farm is “Home for the Holidays,” performing after dark at the outdoor Calico Mine Stage. The approximately 25-minute show features an impressive changing set with a large cast of live singers and dancers. It is one of the most cozy and heartwarming stage productions you’ll ever find in a theme park. It is full of holiday cheer making it nearly impossible to walk away without a smile on your face.

At the historic Birdcage Theater, “A Calico Christmas Carol” and “Gift of the Magi, 1885” rotate throughout the day sharing these classic holiday tales, with a Knott’s spin, in this intimate venue. Guests who are familiar with Knott’s Berry Farm history will get an extra kick out of some of the jokes, but it’s certainly not a prerequisite to enjoy these charming tales.

The “Calico Carolers” can be found wandering throughout Ghost Town as they sing a wide variety of holiday tunes a cappella style. The talented vocalists dressed in their Victorian best feel right at home among the old buildings of Ghost Town. Here’s a look at a performance from the Calico Carolers in our YouTube video.
As the sun sets, the “Tis the Season Tree Lighting Ceremony” brings the Calico Park centerpiece tree to life. This year, a new show with live performers helps illuminate the tree and surrounding area.

Another nighttime offering that can’t be missed is “Snow N’ Glow” on the streets of Ghost Town, shown multiple times throughout the evening. Although the presentation is only a few minutes long, it’s well worth adding it to your entertainment list as the streets are covered with blizzard-like amounts of “snow” falling from the sky. One really nice thing about “Snow N’ Glow” is you can show up at the last minute and still have a good spot to experience it from since it covers the length of the Ghost Town streets.

In addition to all of this, you’ll catch even more live performances throughout the park including Adelaide, Bluegrass Duo, Wandering Wranglers, and more as live entertainment is one of the highlights at Knott’s Merry Farm. Here’s an overview look at the Knott’s Merry Farm offerings in our video:
