To attraction magazine last year I rode Tiana’s Bayou Adventure and I filmed 2 action figures of Lawrence and Dr facilier. And I noticed that the ride takes place during the 1927 Mississippi river flood disaster which claimed over 500 lives and displaced thousand of people stranded on the levee hill in red cross camps.

Also Tiana’s Bayou Adventure is missing characters including spoonbill birds lady butterflies Reggie Darnell two fingers a showboat Lawrence Dr facilier is missing and Disney imagineers refused to add more animatronic characters to the ride. Can you do an article concerning Tiana’s Bayou Adventure during the great Mississippi river flood of 1927. Let me know.

Yes! Power-Up Bands work across all Universal parks. You may have to pair it with the Universal Orlando app, but if you’ve purchased a Band in Japan or Hollywood, it will still work in Orlando.

They could have followed Disney’s lead and disguise/hide the rails, posts and wheels. A theme park should not have open framed coasters.
Just make it look more like a wagon plunging into a dark forest. Currently, it looks like an out of place coaster in the otherwise highly themed Dark Universe.

As a Disney Fan for over 50+ years this is disappointing and my last connection with them. Their no longer worthy of my the time, day or money. There is no redeminable value for the money for what D23 is now offering moving forward in April 2025.

Since we rode with our son, there was no parking fee for us. They also had the food marked 50% off for all team members. We didn’t buy any merchandise, so I’m not sure about the Passholder discount.
As for the Werewolf coaster, I’d say it was a bit more intense than Guardians, but just a bit. It spins more like the old Primeval Whirl ride, or Cobra’s Curse at Busch Gardens, than the controlled spinning of Guardians.

However you want to defend it (Carousel of Progress was assembled before many of us were even born, and not for a park), having parks that are increasingly decorated by HomeGoods are NOT a step forward in terms of product quality. We’re going backwards, the quality of the product is deteriorating, and especially in light on increasing prices, we have to call them on it rather than offer justifications for it.

Because the Asian shareholders and tourists LOVE the shopping mall look. And that’s who they are catering to now. The American tourist market can pound sand for all these Disney execs care. They are only worried what the foreign travel market thinks.
I was never a big fan of Michael Eisner, but Bob Iger and his team of minions (as well as those terrible years with Chapek at the helm) have completely destroyed all the magic that made WDW and even Disneyland (though not as severely) what they were. It’s very very sad, truly.

We’ll go to Universal now because at least they treat Passholders as special and you get so much bang for your buck when you stay at one of the top tier resorts.

I agree Kong was one of the best 3D experiences on that Park property. One of the most amazing 3D movie magic screen experiences of all time. It’s what made that ride. Kong himself as an animatronic Is also very beautiful and a wonderful piece of art but the 2D was definitely a downgrade.

Adults attendees were intertained by the athletic performers but four year olds do not appreciate their athletic talents nor understand what they are doing.

We have contacted Feld Entertainment voicing our displeasure with the half show we sat through.

Hi Vinnie. Thanks for reading. There is definitely a certain amount of truth in the fact that any of the resorts getting tourists to Orlando is good for all of the resorts. That’s always the positive spin the PR folks put on it when these things happen. I think the big factor will be where folks decide to spend their hotel money. If they choose to stay at a Universal hotel versus Disney, that would be bad news for Disney. Sure, the theme park tickets make them money. But the hotels make them a ton of money. As far as pass holder previews, I would assume they will. The parks tend to do that in general, and it’s a good way for them to test guest flow, etc.

As a physically disabled individual I am not happy with this new policy. On my last visit to universal Orlando I tried to obtain a disability pass and was told that the only “accommodation “ they would give me was a wheelchair and that in order to get the Disability pass I need a mental disability, like ADD or ADHD. I was not happy with my last visit.

Besides, not everyone has Disney+.

Eisner designed Disney’s Mediterranean to go where the Venetian was, but was too swampy so it was cancelled.

Kristen I agree, but be careful with Sea World Orlando. I have the card and was told I had to wait in the Guest Services line for additional things (they give you a piece of paper letting you know what you are allowed to ride). The line is for everything and not disability friendly. After 30 minutes and not even being halfway done, I was suffering so I went and found a manager and told her that I cannot stand in line long or be in sun and asked if they had a disabled line. She was very rude and said no. I kindly suggested that maybe they could add one and have the person be at the end and if no one was in that line they could help with overflow from the regular line. I ended up being in that line for over an hour, which at that point my spoons were all spent. We were only able to stay another hour and a half, but I was suffering! I had to go the next weekend with out of state family and I told a manager what happened and that they need a separate disabled line and he actually said to me, “I’ll TALK TO THEM AND MAYBE THEY CAN LOWER THE COUNTERS!” Um what.

I would have loved to see a GMR update as well. There was apparently a big update in the works that never came to fruition.
