Marvel’s Thunderbolts hits theaters May 2, 2025, and fans can purchase exclusive merch like popcorn buckets and cups at AMC Theatres, Cinemark Theatres, and Regal Cinemas.
The latest Marvel Cinematic Universe film, “Thunderbolts, ” will be released in movie theaters on May 2, 2025 (with advanced screenings at some cineplexes on May 1). “Thunderbolts” stars Florence Pugh, Sebastian Stan, Wyatt Russell, Olga Kurylenko, Lewis Pullman, Hannah John-Kamen, David Harbour, and Julia Louis-Dreyfus. The Marvel Studios film follows a roster of antiheroes forced to work together on a dangerous mission after being caught in a deadly trap.
For fans of Marvel and these characters, several movie theaters will sell “Thunderbolts” merchandise, such as popcorn buckets, in conjunction with the movie’s release. Fans of Marvel characters like Bucky Barnes, Yelena Belova, and Red Guardian can watch the film and snack with collectible items matching the movie. ‘Thunderbolts’ Red Guardian limousine popcorn bucket at AMC Theatres
Moviegoers at an AMC Theatre can purchase an exclusive “Thunderbolts” popcorn bucket shaped like the team’s bullet-riddled limousine, which plays a key role in the movie, driven by Red Guardian. While we are unsure how practical this popcorn container will be, it looks great for Marvel fans. AMC Theatres posted, “Ride in style with an unexpected team!”
In addition to the popcorn bucket, fans can purchase other collectibles at AMC, such as a limited-edition “Thunderbolts” keychain.

Cinemark Theatres will also have “Thunderbolts” items for fans to purchase. The offerings include gold and gray popcorn buckets, specially branded fountain drink cups, and a reusable tumbler featuring a twist-on lid and straw, showcasing the film’s whole ensemble of antiheroes.
Guests can purchase a Red Guardian helmet-shaped popcorn bucket to cap this collection off. The popcorn container resembles Red Guardian’s red helmet. The bucket looks to open at a notch above the brow, with the popcorn going underneath.
Regal Cinemas’ popcorn bucket
Regal Cinemas will offer a collectible combo with a dark-toned popcorn bucket and a matching fountain drink cup. Regal will also sell Funko Pops mini-figures based on characters like Florence Pugh’s Yelena Belova.
Regal Cinemas will also sell a special “Thunderbolts” popcorn bucket with a removable cup, available starting April 25, a week prior the film’s release.
