Toothless popcorn bucket at Regal, ‘Isle of Berk Brew’ at AMC movie theaters for ‘How to Train Your Dragon’ live-action remake
From Toothless popcorn buckets to Iceland sweepstakes, here’s what fans can expect for the “How to Train Your Dragon” 2025 live-action movie launch.
The season of movie theatre popcorn buckets is upon us. Earlier this month, we got the release of the “Thunderbolts” limousine popcorn bucket. Alamo Drafthouse created a special “Jaws” collectible popcorn bucket for that film’s 50th anniversary. Stitch popcorn buckets are on the way, too.
Now, we have a new Toothless popcorn bucket for the live-action remake of “How to Train Your Dragon.” Several movie theater chains are rolling out collectible items for this movie, which will debut June 13, 2025.
Toothless popcorn bucket at Regal Cinemas
Fans of “How to Train Your Dragon” can enjoy the Toothless popcorn bucket at Regal Cinemas. It features the same black scales that Toothless has in the movies and can be seen at Universal Epic Universe as part of How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk.
Fans can have their own rare Night Fury dragon, in Toothless popcorn bucket form, from “How to Train Your Dragon.” Fans might even form a bond with Toothless, as Hiccup does in the film. This Toothless popcorn bucket looks anything but untrainable. As Regal Cinemas states, “Bring home your own legendary dragon companion with the cutest collectible we’ve ever encountered.”
In addition, Regal Crown Club Members will receive a complimentary small popcorn when buying tickets to “How to Train Your Dragon” in advance. Also, if they see the movie on ScreenX, they will receive a free collectible map based on the film.
Dragon Tamer Snack Pack at AMC Theatres
AMC Theatres is offering an early access fan event, happening June 11, two days before the film’s official release. Interested parties can be among the first to experience “How to Train Your Dragon” in IMAX and bring home a free collectible.
In conjunction with the movie’s release, AMC Theatres is also offering collectible pins and a sweepstakes to win a trip for four to Iceland.
While viewing the film at AMC Theatres, fans can purchase a “Dragon Tamer Snack Pack.” This includes a large popcorn, two candies, and two large drinks. Guests can try the Isle of Berk Brew with Coke Zero Lime and Peach or enjoy the orange-vanilla flavor of the AMC-exclusive Night Fury Fire.
‘How to Train Your Dragon’ at Cinemark
For the release of “How to Train Your Dragon,” Cinemark Theatres presents guests with a $30 Super Ticket package. The ticket package consists of an XD ticket admission to “How to Train Your Dragon” in addition to a “How to Train Your Dragon” mini poster, enamel pin, a drink, and a 130-oz “How to Train Your Dragon” hexagon popcorn tin.
