What it’s like to visit the 12K+ LED dome at Cosm Los Angeles
At the new venue Cosm Los Angeles, boasting a 12K+ dome in Hollywood Park, you can catch a whole slew of entertainment and sports offerings throughout the year. This Sunday, Feb. 9, 2025, you can watch the Kansas City Chiefs go up against the Philadelphia Eagles during Super Bowl LIX.

Having gone to see Cirque du Soleil’s “O” on Cosm’s giant LED screen, I can tell you firsthand the experience of watching content at Cosm is quite spectacular. The visuals are crystal clear and all-encompassing. The images are so clear, in fact, I was legitimately fooled when approaching the screen by its pre-show outdoor atmospheres. I thought I was walking toward the outdoors until I was close enough to realize the truth.

The dome is 87 feet in diameter featuring 12K+ LED visuals. This is Cosm’s first experiential sports and entertainment venue. They call the 65,000-square-foot space next to SoFi Stadium a “shared reality venue.” Shared reality “merges state-of-the-art visuals with the energy of the crowd to make fans feel like they have the best seat in the house at the most sought-after events from around the globe.”

If you’re a football fan in Los Angeles, there’s no better place to watch the Super Bowl — although it will come at a pretty steep price, with the lowest reserved seating ticket starting at $275 and general admission starting at $165.

If you’re more interested in experiencing the technology of the dome and less interested in a pricey, one-off-live sporting event, you can find much more affordable tickets during the 12K Immersive Art and Entertainment Programming. This series is headlined by the previously mentioned Cirque du Soleil show “O.” “O” is one of Cirque du Soleil’s most successful productions after 25 years on stage and still performing live and in-person at Bellagio in Las Vegas.

At Cosm Los Angeles, you can watch the Cirque spectacular from vantage points not possible in person at the live show. As Cosm describes it, “Every sight, sound, and stunning detail of ‘O’ will envelop the senses as guests experience the awe and wonder of Cirque du Soleil’s first fully digital and immersive experience in Shared Reality.”

In addition to the feature on screen, Cosm boasts a menu full of delicious foods and a full-service bar. I personally enjoyed the “shareables” Chips & Dip as well as the Kale Caesar Salad. They also offer full entrées including tacos, burgers, poke bowls, and more, along with a dessert and kids’ menu.

Cosm, a leading immersive technology, media, and entertainment company, has certainly brought a unique venue to Los Angeles unlike anything else in the city. Whether you’re looking for a place to share the thrills of a live sporting event, or simply a nice night out to enjoy a piece of entertainment, Cosm has you covered. Learn more at cosm.com.
