Epic Universe tour: Chronos portal visiting 4 U.S. cities
The Chronos portal from Epic Universe will embark on a four-city tour across the U.S., giving a sneak peak of the new Orlando park.

“You gotta see this” … even if you can’t make it out to Orlando to see Epic Universe this year!
Opening in less than two months on May 22, 2025 in Orlando, Fla., Universal Epic Universe is the brand-new, highly anticipated third theme park at Universal Orlando Resort. Ahead of the park’s opening day, the National Epic Universe Portal Tour will embark across four U.S. cities showcasing what this park has in store. Universal announced the tour on March 31.
Dates for the Universal National Portal Tour are:
- April 11-13: Atlanta, Ga. (Pemberton Place, adjacent to World of Coca-Cola)
- April 23-26: New York, N.Y. (Rockefeller Center)
- May 16-18: Philadelphia, Penn (The Rocky Steps)
- June 13-18: Chicago, Ill. (Pioneer Court)
The tour will be open from 10 a.m. – 8 p.m. (subject to change).
The 30-foot-tall Chronos serves as the centerpiece of the tour. Inside Epic Universe, the Chronos acts as a gateway to the park’s five immersive worlds: Celestial Park, Super Nintendo World, Dark Universe, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic, and How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk. At the Portal Tour, guests are invited to walk up to the mesmerizing structure and witness action-packed sequences inspired by the adventures that will unfold in the different worlds.
Attendees will also get the chance to take pictures next to the Chronos, as well as be treated to a nighttime light show with sweeping music. Guests hoping to visit the park will also be given the chance to enter a sweepstakes in which the winner will receive a trip to Universal Orlando so they can experience Epic Universe for themselves.
