Epic Universe tickets, pricing for Universal Orlando annual passholders
Universal Orlando passholders can purchase single-day tickets to the new Epic Universe theme park, plus attend previews before the park’s opening day.

How to visit Epic Universe as a Universal passholder
Universal Epic Universe will officially open May 22, 2025 at Universal Orlando! The new park contains five themed worlds: Celestial Park, Super Nintendo World, Dark Universe, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic, and How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk.
When Epic Universe first opens, existing annual passes to Universal Orlando will not include admission to Epic Universe as part of the passholder’s benefits. This applies to all pass types: seasonal, power, preferred, and premier. Universal confirmed a pass option that includes Epic Universe admission will be offered in the future, but has not specified when that pass will become available.
Therefore, Universal Orlando passholders have three options for visiting Epic Universe, all of which are now available:
- purchase a ticket for a passholder preview prior to opening day
- purchase a single-day Epic Universe ticket
- purchase a Universal Orlando vacation package that includes one day at Epic Universe

Epic Universe passholder previews
Epic Universe will officially open on May 22, 2025. Before that, though, Universal Orlando passholders can purchase tickets for preview visits of the new theme park.
Universal Orlando passholders (of any pass tier) can purchase Epic Universe preview tickets for visits taking place April 17 – May 19, 2025. Preview ticket prices start at $123.
Epic Universe single-day tickets for Universal Orlando passholders
Single-day, dated tickets to Epic Universe for Universal Orlando annual passholders are (or were) available for visits taking place from May 22 – Dec. 31, 2025. We say “were” because at the time of this writing, this ticket type is sold out for opening day (May 22) and several days thereafter.
Prices of Epic Universe tickets for Universal passholders range from $121-$173, depending on the date.
Passholders of any type of Universal Orlando annual pass — seasonal, power, preferred, and premier — are eligible for the Epic Universe add-on single-day ticket.
The annual pass only needs to be valid at the time of purchase. If your pass is set to expire prior to your Epic Universe visit, your Epic Universe single-day ticket will still be valid for the date you choose.
Passholders can purchase up to six tickets per transaction. At the time of purchase, you will select the specific date of your Epic Universe visit.
Want to visit more than once? You’ll be able to purchase multiple, single-day Epic Universe tickets for the same passholder.
Passholders can purchase tickets on behalf of their family and friends, but those guests must also have an annual pass and must be linked with the purchasing passholder’s account.
Tickets can be purchased on Universal’s website or in person at guests services at existing Universal Orlando parks.
An important caveat for new passholders
Considering purchasing a Universal annual pass just so you can get early access to Epic Universe single-day tickets? After purchasing your pass, you’ll need to activate it in person at Universal before you can buy your Epic Universe single-day ticket.
In other words, if you buy an annual pass today, you won’t be able to purchase an Epic Universe single-day ticket at the passholder price-point until you’re able to visit Universal Orlando.
As a reminder, Epic Universe previews are also currently available for guests staying at Universal hotels, Military Freedom Pass ticket holders, and Universal Signature Visa Card members.
Currently, Universal Orlando annual passes start at $425 (or $325 for Florida residents).
