Drone show coming to Busch Gardens Tampa Bay
Busch Gardens Tampa Bay lights up Summer Nights with “Wild Skies,” a drone show featuring lights, music, and fireworks.

Summer Nights at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay returns on May 23 and runs through Aug. 10, 2025. The theme park event features extended park hours plus new summer-themed entertainment, attractions, animal experiences, and food and beverage options.
In addition, Busch Gardens Tampa Bay will present “Wild Skies,” a nighttime spectacular with drones and fireworks on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights (plus on Monday, May 26, Memorial Day).

“From jaw-dropping colors to intricate patterns,” Busch Gardens’ website states, “‘Wild Skies: The Summer Nights NEW Drone Show’ will leave guests in awe with a stunning drone display and an explosive firework finale! Set to a perfectly paired soundtrack, it’s an unforgettable experience that will make for a summer night to remember.”
This new drone show at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay will be weather-permitting, and the schedule is subject to change. The theme park suggests checking the daily show schedule for up-to-date showtimes. At the time of writing, the “Wild Skies” show schedule has not been posted.

In addition to the drone show, a special U.S. patriotic fireworks display will occur on July 4-6.

In conjunction with Summer Nights, guests at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay this summer can also enjoy:
- Wild Oasis, a new family-friendly area
- “Moto-Motion,” an all-new indoor stunt show in the Stanleyville Theater that fuses high-flying BMX and motocross tricks with dynamic choreography
- a new Meerkat Habitat
- TOMA at Orang Café, a new quick-service restaurant offering a Latin-American inspired menu, complete with a prime view of the park’s orangutan habitat
- Casbar, a new outdoor full-service bar located in the Moroccan Village near Zagora Café
- free beer promotion beginning daily on May 23: guests 21+ can enjoy one complimentary beer (or two for annual pass members) from 10:30 a.m. until one hour before park closure
