Universal Stella Nova Resort is a brand-new hotel across the street from Epic Universe. Let’s take a look at the property’s rooms, pool, and amenities.
Universal Stella Nova Resort is one of three new official Universal Orlando hotels opening as part of a major expansion that also includes the destination’s third theme park, Universal Epic Universe (still under construction and opening May 22, 2025). The basics of Universal Stella Nova Resort
Pricing
The price of a room at Universal Stella Nova Resort starts at around $210 per night and can reach up to about $280 per night, based on various dates we toggled in a mock checkout on Universal’s website.
Universal categorizes Stella Nova as a “prime value” hotel, its second-least-expensive tier of hotels, which the company describes as providing “a mix of services and amenities made for comfort and affordability.” Other resorts in the prime value category are Universal Aventura Hotel and Stella Nova’s sister property, Universal Terra Luna Hotel (which opens March 25, 2025).
Location
Stella Nova is one of the closest Universal hotels to Epic Universe, the new theme park opening May 22, 2025. This area of land is located on the other side of I4 opposite the rest of Universal Orlando.
Guests staying overnight at Stella Nova can travel to Epic Universe via complimentary shuttle or a walking path, and can reach Universal’s other theme parks — Universal Studios Florida and Universal Islands of Adventure — as well as the Volcano Bay water park and CityWalk dining district via complimentary shuttle.

Some rooms at Stella Nova offer visibility of Epic Universe from their window (see later section), but to say Stella Nova provides a “park view” would be incorrect. Epic Universe is across the street from Stella Nova; the hotel and the park are not attached directly. That honor goes to Universal Helios Grand Hotel, opening May 22 and located literally in Epic Universe itself.
If you’re choosing between Stella Nova and Terra Luna, the shortest walk to Epic Universe will be from Stella Nova.

A bus stop is available to transport guests to the Universal theme parks. The buildings in the background of the photo below are part of an apartment complex, unaffiliated with Universal.
Hotel rooms at Universal Stella Nova
All the rooms at Stella Nova are the same, measuring 315 square feet and containing two queen beds.
In the bathroom area, a glass divider and blackout curtains separates the vanity from the bedroom space, and then a sliding door separates the vanity from the bathroom itself, with one toilet and one shower.
All rooms at Universal Stella Nova have one window; no balconies. Your view may be of the parking lot or the pool. If your window looks out onto the parking lot, you may be able to see Epic Universe across the street, but calling the room a “park view” would be a stretch.
Stella Nova rooms also have a television, coffee maker, closet cabinet, and bedside table.
Nearby in the hallway are ice machines and water fountains. Note that the starry ceiling is only on floor 3.

Cosmos Café and Market
Cosmos Café and Market is the primary dining location of Universal Stella Nova Resort, complete with walk-up, quick-service food areas and grab-and-go items.
Some specialty menu items created just for Stella Nova include banana-walnut buttermilk pancakes, gooey monkey bread, and hot honey chicken pizza.
There are no table-service restaurants at Stella Nova.

Directly connected to the lobby is Nova Bar.
