Universal Helios Grand Hotel opening early | Photo tour with Epic Universe views
See inside Universal Helios Grand Hotel in new photos from guest rooms, restaurants, the rooftop bar, and the park-view of Epic Universe. The hotel, originally announced to open in May, will now open April 16.

Update, April 8, 2025: Universal Orlando officially changed the opening date for Universal Helios Grand Hotel to April 16, 2025. The hotel was initially slated to open May 22. Epic Universe’s official opening date is still May 22, though the park will be open for previews for Universal Orlando passholders (who will still need to purchase a separate ticket to attend) from April 17 – May 8. On April 1, 2025, SalesHub — an “immersive hospitality sales software” apparently collaborating with hotel company Loews on the roll-out of Helios Grand — published images of the hotel on its TrueTour virtual platform.
On April 4, Attractions Magazine staff attended a media preview of Helios Grand ahead of the hotel’s official May 22 April 16 grand opening.
